Cryptocurrency is peer-to-peer and irreversible. A few minutes of checking prevents permanent mistakes — please read each point before transferring.
- Verify the address on this page immediately before sending — do not trust addresses from messages, social media, or anywhere else.
- Choose the correct network for your wallet (USDC, for example, exists on both Ethereum and Solana). A wrong network can mean lost funds.
- Transactions are final. When in doubt, send a small test amount first and confirm it arrives.
- Cryptocurrency contributions are recorded in our annual transparency report, like every other contribution.
- We never send unsolicited messages asking for payment. If someone claims to represent the lab and asks for crypto, it is not us.

Crypto contributions carry exactly the same guarantees as every badge purchase: they fund research and infrastructure — never marketing, never "products" — and they are accounted for in the annual transparency report.
Supporters receive no medical advice, no exclusive treatments, and no preferential science. A contribution is a contribution — nothing is ever sold in exchange.
