Why this policy exists
In the longevity space, brand integrity is a public-health issue. A name used without authorization can lend false credibility to dangerous or misleading claims. This policy exists to protect our research, our brand, and the people who might be misled by misuse of either.
We also protect our research assets: methods, models, data structures, and publications. Open science and intellectual property are not opposites — openness must be deliberate, licensed, and traceable.
Definitions
- Brand Assets: the name "Souverain Labs," our logos, marks, trade dress, and associated visual identity.
- Research Assets: our methods, models, algorithms, datasets, whitepapers, and lab-log content.
- Claims: any statement attributed to us, our team, or our research.
Scope of protection
Brand Assets and Research Assets are the intellectual property of Souverain Research Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and database rights. Nothing on this website grants any licence over these assets except as expressly stated in this policy or in a written agreement.

Enforcement & remedies
We enforce this policy against misuse of our brand and research. Where misuse could endanger public health — for example, health claims falsely attributed to us — enforcement is prompt and firm, including takedown notices and, where appropriate, legal action.
We also track and, where appropriate, correct misattributions in media and social channels.
AI provisions
We do not consent to our brand name or Research Assets being used to train generative AI systems for commercial purposes without a written licence. This includes using our name as an "expert source" in generated content.
AI-generated content that falsely attributes statements or endorsements to us is treated as a prohibited act under this policy.
Attribution & claims
Our research findings speak for themselves in our publications. If you see a longevity claim attributed to Souverain Labs that you cannot find in our published materials, please contact us — it may be a misattribution we need to correct.
